Program is revised on Jan. 31, 2012. ・ The 38th Meeting ( Feb. 9-10, 2012 ) official home page is now opened !! The online registration was closed on Jan. 30, 2012. Guidance of Working Group is opened on Jan 23, 2012. Information on the panel discussion is opened on Jan. 16, 2012. Program is revised on Jan. 12, 2012. Program is revised on Dec. 27, 2011. Program is opened on Dec. 22, 2011. Registration is available on Nov. 7, 2011. ・ The Tof-SIMS WG Ad hoc Meeting ( Jan. 16, 2012 ) is held !! ・ PSA-11 ( Oct. 17-18, 2011) was finished !! The photographs of the Powell Prize ceremony were uploaded on Oct. 21, 2011. ・ PSA-10 was finished. Conference photograph is uploaded.
Objective of SASJ
SASJ promotes national and international collaborative researches, holds symposia and publishes related documents in order to improve the authenticity and the standardization of surface analysis techniques. Besides, SASJ promotes construction of Database for surface analysis.Activities of SASJ
- Holds Meetings 3 times a year, and Symposium, Seminars.
- Holds International Symposia.
International Symposium on Practical Surface Analysis, PSA-10 ( October 3-6, 2010 )
- Publishes TASSA ( Testing and Standards for Surface Analysis ) reports.
- Explanations of terms for surface chemical analysis.

- Publishes JSA ( Journal of Surface Analysis ) and books.
All contents of JSA already issued are opened on the page of the download service.
Only Vol.9 No.1 - 4 (2002) are opened on J-Stage as a online journal.- Provides Database
- Sputter Etching Rate Database (SERD)
- Provides COMPRO ( Common Data Processing System )
- Communicates with related national and international organizations.
- Promotes any projects required to establish objective of SASJ.
SASJ is supporting the following societies.
- The 47th X-ray Meeting (Oct 28-29, 2011 / Kyushu University)
Every Scientist and Engineer who has an interest in Surface Analysis is encouraged to be a member of SASJ. The member fee is free.
