Papers
  All manuscripts for the presentations must be brought to the editorial committee on the conference site (November 25 - 28, 2007). All papers will be peer-reviewed by referees selected by the editorial committee.

Submission of Manuscript
  The manuscript in triplicate (the original typescript and two clear photocopies) should be submitted. The author(s) should submit the manuscript together with a Contribution Form (MS-Word file / PDF file) and a Reprint Order Form (MS-Word file / PDF file). The author(s) should attach a JSA/Copyright Transfer Form (MS-Word file / PDF file) if author(s) would like to transfer the copyright to the Surface Analysis Society of Japan in order to attain the maximum circulation of the article.
  The number of the words in one page of an article for the proceeding is about 800 words. Invited papers are requested to be 6 pages, and Contributed papers are requested to be 4 pages, respectively. The article has to include the abstract, no greater than 150 words.
Instruction
  1. Manuscript must be written in English. The paper size should be either A4 (210 x 297 mm) or letter size.
  2. The font used in the text should be Times New Roman or Times, and Greek character should be symbol.
  3. The article consists of title, author name(s), affiliation(s), address(es), e-mail address of the correspondence author, abstract, and text body including references.
  4. The abstract must be written in a separated page from the main page. The number of the words in an abstract shall be less than 150 words.
  5. The number of the text body is less than 3050 words for a contributed paper and 4650 words for an invited paper, respectively. The number of words shall be subtracted for figures and tables.
  6. When an article is printed out, it is recommended to be double-spaced lines.
  7. The Reference to the literature should be numbered in the text with style. For example: Suzuki et al. [2], by Yoshihara [5, 6], and Ichimura [10]. The list of the literature cited should be headed by the phrase Reference and numbered [1], [2], [3], etc., by the numbers used in the text.
    The References are entered in the Reference section using the format below.

Caution :
  After reviewing by referees, you should send your revised manuscript, the original typescript and the digital files; The texts and tables should be brought in MS-Word. Figures should be saved in general format (JPG, TIFF), PhotoShop format, or Illustrator format. The files should be saved on CD-R.

Publication of Papers and Conference Proceedings
  All accepted papers will be published in a regular issue (Volume 15, Number 1) of the Journal of Surface Analysis. The participant fee includes the cost of one volume of the Proceedings.
